Effective adoption of a new financial or billing software system is first and foremost based on good planning, good communications, and helping to drive strong customer and organizational commitment for the new system. That’s what our Project Management philosophy is all about.
After discussing goals, timelines, requirements, personnel and potential roadblocks to the project, we work with the customer to develop a flexible Project Plan that promotes communication and accountability from all involved parties. We define specific milestones and benchmarks to measure success within the project, and we meet often to discover how well we’re all tracking toward success. We identify missed milestones early on to minimize their impact, and we report regularly to the Board to review the progress made. And lastly, we put planning in place to focus attention on the users of the new environment because it is they who ultimately provide the success or failure of the project.
